Naționala Egiptului de Kaiac -Canoe in cantonament în România
La invitația Complexului Nicolae Navasart reprezentat de Director Manicea Cristina echipa națională de Kaiac-Canoe a Egiptului a venit in cantonament în baza din Izvorani pentru prima dată în România.Aceasta perioadă de antrenament a fost posibilă datorită Federației Internaționale de Kaiac -Canoe reprezentă de Președintele Thomas Konietzko și a Federației Române de Kaiac -Canoe în frunte cu Președintele Ion Bârlădeanu. Primele 2 persoane au venit pe 14 aprilie , următoarele 7 pe 26 aprilie și au plecat pe 7 mai.Sportivii egipteni s-au pregătit pentru Clupele Mondiale Seged Hungary și Poznan Polonia împreună cu Naționala de Kaiac -Canoe a României de Tineret.
Pe toată perioada de antrenament sportivii au beneficiat de casă, masă,simulatoare, săli de forță,grup de refacere,plus minunatul peisaj din pădurea de pe malul lacului Snagov .Egiptenii au fost mulțumiți de toate facilitățile și de personalul din baza Nicolae Navasart.Primii doi canoiști revin după Cupa Mondială in complex pentru pregătire alături lotul de tineret al României până în 28 August . Datorită prezenței lotului olimpic al Ucrainei de anul trecut, care a beneficiat de sprijinul bazei sportive pentru toată perioada in care s-au antrenat , Federația Internațională a denumit Nicolae Navasart, Complex Olimpic de pregătire a sportivilor.O altă canoistă din Paraguay,Ana Paula Fernandez și-a facut stagiul de pregătire în perioada februarie -martie 2023 in baza Navasart din Izvoarni.
Ana Paula Hernandez Paraguay a ocupat locul 3 la calificarea pentru jocurile panamericane Chile 2023.Aceasta a mulțumit doamnei Director Cristina Manicea și personalului din complex pentru tot sprijinul oferit pe tot parcursul cantonamentului. Sportivii străini au fost antrenați în baza Navasart de antrenorul echipei olimpice de tinert a României,Nichita Sergan care le-a oferit tot suportul tehnic pentru o pregătire temeinică.
The Egyptian national team of Kayak-Canoe came to Romania for the first time for a training camp at the invitation of the Nicolae Navasart Complex, represented by Director Manicea Cristina. This training period was made possible thanks to the International Canoe Federation, represented by President Thomas Konietzko, and the Romanian Canoe Federation, led by President Ion Bârlădeanu. The first two team members arrived on April 14th, followed by the next seven on April 26th, and they left on May 7th. The Egyptian athletes trained for the World Cups in Szeged, Hungary and Poznan, Poland, together with the Romanian Youth Kayak-Canoe National Team.
Throughout the training period, the Egyptian athletes had access to accommodation, meals, simulators, weight rooms, recovery facilities, and the beautiful scenery of the forest by Lake Snagov. The Egyptians were satisfied with all the facilities and the staff at the Nicolae Navasart complex. The first two canoeists will return after the World Cup to the complex to train with the Romanian youth team until August 28th. Due to the presence of the Ukrainian Olympic team last year, who benefited from the sports complex’s support throughout their training period, the International Federation named Nicolae Navasart an Olympic training complex for athletes.
Another Paraguayan canoeist, Ana Paula Fernandez, did a training internship in the Navasart base in Izvorani from February to March 2023. Ana Paula Hernandez placed third in the qualification for the Chile 2023 Pan American Games. She thanked Director Cristina Manicea and the staff at the complex for all the support offered during the training camp. The foreign athletes were trained at the Navasart base by the coach of the Romanian youth Olympic team, Nichita Sergan, who provided them with all the technical support for thorough preparation.
